New York jazz trumpeter Michael Morreale has been coming to Santa Fe for more than 25 years and without a doubt has become a glowing ember of the Northern New Mexico jazz fabric. One of New York’s Finest, Michael appeared on both highly acclaimed Straight Up albums in 1996 & 2002, and has since recorded 5 albums as leader of his own quartet. His latest release has been met with rave reviews and if last year’s sold out concert is any indication of what’s coming next, It would be wise to get your tickets early for this one.
This year will be Michael’s first appearance at the beautiful supper club “UNIT B”, where he will be performing many cuts from his latest release, accompanied by Bob Fox – Piano, Terry Burns – Bass, and John Trentacosta on Drums. Seating at Unit B is limited and it is very likely that this concert will sell out weeks before.
